Reaching, swinging, and what’s next (Part 2 starts soon!)

In our Feldenkrais classes, we are continuing our "Making it Relevant" theme throughout the summer.

We are currently in the heart of Part 1, where we are taking the awareness you cultivate on the mat and applying it to the moments that actually matter in your day-to-day life. So far, we have explored:

  • The Reach Upward: Improving the mechanics of reaching for a heavy ceramic bowl, taking off a sweater, or simply brushing your hair.
  • The Weighted Swing: Generating momentum for the garden (shoveling/swinging an axe), the court (pickleball), beating a rug, or even swinging a kettlebell.
  • Our upcoming lessons in Part 1 will focus on enhancing your mobility for seated meditation, as well as essential everyday actions like turning to look behind you, reaching for objects on the floor, or simply putting on a shoe or a sock.

There is still time to join us! We have three lessons left in Part 1 before we transition into the next phase.
